Marbury's Shoe Tour Stops in Pittsburgh
"Stephon Marbury does not ride a horse throughout the countryside yelling about guys in red coats," writes Monica Haynes of the PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE. "Stephon Marbury does not make impassioned pleas about liberty or death. This New York Knicks point guard/revolutionary is bringing his affordability movement to Pittsburgh today with a 4 p.m. stop at Steve & Barry's, a national discount casual apparel store in Century III Mall, West Mifflin." Gary D'Amato of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, as published in The Mercury News, reports, "Toni Kukoc would have played another season in the National Basketball Association, but only on his terms. He didn't want to move his family from Highland Park, Ill., so when neither the Milwaukee Bucks nor the Chicago Bulls expressed interest in signing him, he decided to end his career."
