Warriors' Murphy to Coach Third Base

According to the THE DAILY RECORD article by Jane Havsy on USA TODAY, "Troy Murphy has a lot to learn about baseball. And Newark Bears manager Chris Jones is prepared to teach him everything in about an hour. Murphy, a Golden State Warriors forward from Sparta, N.J., is going to be the third-base coach for the Bears on Friday."
John Eligon of THE NEW YORK TIMES reports, "With one of their first-round draft picks, Josh Boone, out for the next four to six months because of a shoulder injury, the Nets may enter the free-agent market, after all."
