Knicks' Last 2 Top Picks Look to Test Thier Knees

Howard Beck of THE NEW YORK TIMES reports, "When the Knicks open summer league play here Friday, all eyes will be on the knees of their top picks of the last two drafts. Channing Frye, the No. 8 selection in 2005, is fully recovered from a torn knee ligament that cut short his rookie season in March. Renaldo Balkman, the surprise pick at No. 20 last week, sprained his left knee during practice Tuesday evening."
Eddie Sefko of THE DALLAS MORNING NEWS reports, "The Mavericks have agreed to trade Marquis Daniels to Indiana for veteran power forward Austin Croshere. The deal, widely reported Wednesday night and confirmed by Mavericks' officials, will become official July 12."
